Products: We raise registered Shorthorn cattle to provide purebred females and bulls for livestock producers; and we also raise cross-bred females to produce club calves for junior beef exhibitors. Custom feeding of our ranch raised cattle is available, with customers purchasing a whole or 1/2 steer to be processed to their specifications. We can help with the ranch harvesting and transport to the processor of your choice. USDA Inspected beef is available by the package or in larger quantities as available.

About Us: We are a Loomis ranch family, Kim and Dave Alsup, with deep roots on our farms in California and Tennessee, respectively. We believe in responsible, sustainable farm to fork nourishment. In Loomis, we raise heritage breed chickens and Rouen ducks, both for their eggs and meat. We believe that by sharing our wholesome meats and eggs with others who respect naturally raised livestock, our values and purpose are fulfilled.

Products: Nestled in the hills by Folsom Lake Laughing Duck Farm’s focus is on sustainability, heritage/rare breed and dual purpose animals, nutrition, and education thru classes and Permaculture consulting. Our family raises sheep, goats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, quail, geese, bees, fruit, vegetables, and herbs. A variety of gourmet eggs and combos are available from poultry that have access to irrigated pasture (quail have grass brought in), organic no-soy feed, sprouted grains and more. Hatching eggs, incubation services, chicks, adult birds, and other small livestock are available thru the year for the homesteaders. This year we will be offering goat milk soap and fodder for livestock and pets.
