Become a Master AGvocate! This leadership program is an opportunity to learn about the history of agriculture in Placer County and the economic contribution that agriculture makes to our county, to learn directly from farmers and ranchers about their businesses, and explore the diversity of products grown and raised in Placer County. The program consists of a series of on-farm workshops and visits through November, 2011.
Please join us for the introductory session, "Introduction to Placer County Agriculture", presented by Roger Ingram, UC Cooperative Extension & Keith Kohler, Placer County Agriculture Department
The evening will also include an overview of the program outline and timeline. Cookies and drinks provided.
MasterAGvocate Program Registration is $75, and includes PlacerGROWN Community Membership for 2012. We will process your registration at the August 31 meeting. Payment by check, please.
