Weather Alert for Saturday April 7th Auburn Farmers’ Market

The weather forecast for Saturday April 7, 2018 is currently predicting extremely high winds and possible flooding. The Auburn Farmers’ Market is monitoring the weather forecasts, and there is a possibility the market will be cancelled if the “Pineapple Express” materializes.

“The safety of our customers and our vendors is our top concern,” said Carol Arnold, CEO of PlacerGROWN, the market operator. “High winds send our pop-up tents flying and can cause injury pretty easily. We appreciate our community and do our best to keep this market open year-round, but we must be safe.”

Check for updates on the market on PlacerGROWN’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/placergrown. A decision will be made Friday night on the safety of holding the Saturday market.
